With over 15 years experience building brands and creating end-to-end marketing campaigns, I joined Auto Trader 3 years ago as Senior Art Director to lead the in-house Creative Studio team. I was challenged to increase the volume and variety of work produced as well as the level of collaboration with teams across the organisation – helping to drive creative output in all areas.
Overseeing a team restructure and the implementation of a new WMS to incorporate data into our decision-making process, allowing better support across a wider creative remit has seen the team grow (by roughly 50%) and saw me take on the role of Creative Director to continue to challenge what in-house creative teams can deliver.
The opportunity to shape the output and direction of a creative team, making an impact within the largest tech FTSE 100 company with 76m cross-platform visits every month, generating five times as many automotive searches as Google, is a pretty unique and exciting one.
