Evonne Mackenzie

Evonne is Head of Design at the V&A where she leads on design across at V&A South Kensington, Young V&A, V&A East Storehouse and Museum and the V&A Wedgwood Collection. She works on the commissioning design and creative and leads the in-house design studio across the design of exhibitions, galleries, displays, brands and campaigns. 

Prior to the V&A Evonne worked at Heatherwick Studio, and at the British Council where she was Director Arts Indonesia leading a multi-disciplinary arts programme, and a programmer of architecture, design, and fashion across the Middle East and East Asia. 

Passionate about talent, ideas and sustainability, Evonne is frequently found being enthusiastic and overly optimistic about projects that have wild ambition combined with an air of the impossible.
