Since moving to London in 2010 to complete a Master’s in Fashion Journalism at Central Saint Martins, Mariel has built her career by interweaving storytelling, creativity, and digital innovation. She began in digital publishing with editorial stints at Marie Claire and Wallpaper magazine, before transitioning into brand copywriting.

 

Her journey has included shaping tone of voice and creative strategy for consumer-facing brands such as Moonpig, Popsa, and Busuu. In 2021, she joined Trainline to lead the content and creative function. Since then, she’s transformed a small design team into a fully fledged in-house creative studio—elevating brand storytelling and visual identity globally.
