APA

The Advertising Producers Association (APA) represents the interest of 350+ UK production, post production, sound design, music production and editing companies making commercials and branded content around the world.

The APA’s objective is to create the best conducive business environment for their members to operate in. They provide standard contracts and resources, production & legal advice, world-class training, monthly industry events for learning and networking opportunities and continuous marketing of their member’s capabilities to agencies, brands and marketers both in the UK and internationally.

In 2024 the APA released a report ‘WHAT CLIENTS WANT FROM ADVERTISING PRODUCTION TODAY’ a summary of interviews with 27 senior marketing professional from 25 brands, highlighting that brands want to hear more about production companies capabilities and how they can be central to solving their complex marketing needs; with the shift of more and more brands moving to an in-house model, direct relationships with specialist producers can be hugely beneficial.

PRODUCTION UNPLUGGED is the APA’s answer to this- an ongoing initiative, coupled with a FIRST OF ITS KIND FREE online directory packed with case studies to help brands understand the vast capabilities of production companies and how to access them.

Campaign in-house summit delegates will get to hear from a chosen panel of exhibitors that featured in the first Production Unplugged LIVE event earlier on this year, offering delegates the change to gain real insight into the value and commercial impact that production companies can offer to brands.
